Wild Dog 4x4 recovery strops replace steel cable or chain in certain applications, and are lighter than steel.

Strop or kinetic rope?

A heavy duty strop has minimal stretch and is designed for towing and static pulls. For snatch recoveries, use a kinetic rope or snatch strap, which stretch to absorb the load.

Wild Dog 4x4 heavy duty recovery strops in 1,500kg, 2,000kg, 3,000kg and 4,000kg ratings, in 10m, 15m and 20m lengths. Manufactured in South Africa.

Care

Clean and air dry after use, especially after mud and salt. Store out of direct sunlight. Inspect the full length before every use and replace anything with cuts, heavy abrasion or heat damage.
