Snatch strap or kinetic rope?

Both work on the same principle. A snatch strap is flat webbing that is easy to inspect along its length; a kinetic rope is a rope construction. Match the rating to the loaded weight of the vehicle being recovered.

Safety

Only connect to rated recovery points bolted to the chassis, using soft shackles or bow shackles — never a tow ball. Use a recovery damper, keep bystanders clear, and let the strap rest between pulls.
