Wild Dog 4x4 describes its synthetic winch line as a safer and lighter replacement for wire cable. It is also easier to handle, without the broken strands that develop on steel cable.

Wild Dog 4x4 synthetic winch line in 3,500kg x 15m, 3,500kg x 30m, 10,000kg x 30m and 14,000kg x 26m. Manufactured in South Africa.

Before you fit it

Synthetic line needs an aluminium hawse fairlead, not a roller fairlead. The D.A.G Bull Winch 13,500lbs ships with synthetic rope and an aluminium hawse fairlead as standard.

Looking after it

Rinse mud and sand out after use, keep it away from a hot winch motor, and re-spool under tension. See also winch extension straps and winch rings.
