A kill switch is a hidden, driver-operated cut-off that stops the vehicle starting or running unless it is disengaged. It adds a physical layer of protection on top of your factory immobiliser.

Fitment

We stock vehicle-specific kill switches for the Toyota Hilux and Fortuner 2016+, the Land Cruiser Prado 150, the Land Cruiser 200 and the Land Cruiser 300.

Fitting and placement

Have it fitted by a qualified auto electrician, and give real thought to where the switch goes — a switch in an obvious place gives little protection. Check whether your insurer offers a premium reduction for an approved installation.

A kill switch complements a tracker and an alarm rather than replacing either.
